Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can use our online booking form above for appointments two days in the future. If you need next day service please message 021 619 527 and we will try to accomodate you. Same day bookings are available rarely, please message as early as possible.

  • Not to worry! If you have a booking I will come down to the lobby to let you into the facility. Please note, if you are quite early, I may still be with my previous client. You can pop me a text you’ve arrived, and can wait in the community area in the 4 Square (by the bakery) until I come to greet you.

  • First, you will not be completely undressed for your massage. The convention in New Zealand is for the underpants to remain on, some women choose to retain their bra as well. The straps can interfere with some techniques, but you feeling comfortable and relaxed during the massage is paramount.

You will be draped in a sheet and blanket during your massage, with only the area currently being worked exposed while the rest of your body remains covered.

Your massage therapist will leave the room to give you privacy while you undress to the extent you wish to, and will return after you are on the massage table and covered with the draping.

Just let us know your specific concerns and we can make sure you are comfortable during your massage. If you prefer to remain fully clothed, the seated chair massage may be a good choice for you.

  • Yes! We have a selection of bolsters, pillows, and padding to ensure you can be comfortable, including supportive pillows with cutouts for women who have issues with their chest being compressed by the table during massage.

  • You can contact us anytime by email, snellsbeachmassage@gmail.com, by text, 021 619 527, WhatsApp, also 021 619 527 using the same number, or by the Contact Us form on this page.

While we try to respond quickly to all messages, please allow one business day for a reply as we may be working with other clients.

  • When I first arrived in New Zealand I found myself unable to do a license conversion (long & irrelevant story) so I had to walk while I waited out the 6 months I needed to have my learners permit before I could drive myself. I worked from home then, so it was mostly walking to the gym or the shops. I had zero issues hitting 10k steps per day.

After I got my license, I realised that when I didn’t walk to the gym and walk home, I’d hit dinner prep time and be short on steps, so I went back to walking. I realised it didn’t really take significantly more time after I located my car keys, unplugged the car, parked, etc. so I’ve kept it up. It’s only a couple kilometres each way, and makes a huge difference installing on top of my goals.
