Meet the Massage Therapist

Hi! I’m Kara, known in Snells Beach as “that redheaded lady who walks everywhere.” I moved to here from California in January 2024, and found a an amazing hometown. I recently left my corporate tech job and have chosen to start my own business doing something more personally fulfilling, where I can help people in my community feel their best.

I live in Snells Beach with my Kiwi husband, Matt, and our delightfully dumb dog Freddy, who I’m afraid you won’t see out walking with me. He had rough upbringing on the mean streets of South Auckland before the SPCA picked him up, so he’s socially inept with other dogs, tends to come on a bit strong. He’s a big boy, so he can be startling. Don’t worry, he’s got plenty of paddock to keep him busy, and heaps of attention from his human pack.

I mostly spend my free time walking, hiking, cooking and working out. I’ve focused in on strength training since I moved to New Zealand, and was able to compete in my first bodybuilding competition in 2025. I did unexpectedly well in my age group, and had a great time, so I am looking to continue with the sport.
